Align was founded to give litigation practices technology that fits how cases are actually prepared and tried. Today we advise firms on AI and build the tools they need.

Sam Davidoff spent more than twenty years as a litigator, most of them as a partner at Williams & Connolly LLP.
He tried cases before juries, judges and arbitration panels, represented technology companies in cybersecurity, antitrust and patent litigation, and chaired the firm's technology committee for several years.
In 2020 he founded Align and built Align Binders, now deployed at multiple Am Law 100 firms. He architected both of Align's products and remains directly involved in their development, including the multistage AI pipeline behind Align Research.

Every recommendation starts from how your cases are prepared and tried.
When an existing product fits, including one of ours, we recommend it. We build when your firm needs something the market can't provide.
All work is confidential. Engagements involving client matters include conflict checks and a documented privilege framework.
